Bayern midfielder Mario Gotze back to full training

Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has returned to full training for the Bundesliga side having recovered from an ankle injury .

During last month's Super Cup victory over Chelsea, Gotze was hurt in a challenge by Ramires, for which the Brazilian midfielder was sent off as he went with his studs showing.

After missing on International duty along with two Bundesliga matches, Gotze joined along with his teammates for training on Sunday morning.

The 21-year-old is now expected to feature in Pep Guardiola's side for this weekend's Bundesliga clash against Wolfsburg, but is not fit enough to play a part in Wednesday's DFB Cup match against Hannover.

The Champions League winners have so far maintained their unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season following last weekend's 4-0 drubbing of Schalke 04, which placed them level on points with Borussia Dortmund at the top of the league standings.
