Everton hope to complete permanent Lukaku deal
Everton manager Roberto Martinez will find out whether or not he can agree a permanent transfer for Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer. The Toffees have taken the forward on loan from Chelsea.
Lukaku has bagged 13 goals in 25 games for Roberto Martinez's side and helped the Toffees to fourth place in the Premier League after leapfrogging Arsenal in the 3-0 win last weekend.
“He’s a grounded and intelligent young man, who is not going to be swayed by the materialistic aspect of the game,” said Martinez.
“What can we offer him? Just enjoying his football.
“As a player, happiness is something that is very important. When you can offer football happiness it’s an incredible opportunity.”
