Man City to sign John Terry?

Manchester City have been associated with a summer move for Chelsea skipper John Terry, according to The Daily Mail.

The former England international, who is set to leave the West London club when his contract expires in the summer, has been closely tracked by the Citizens in recent weeks.

 

Terry is understood to be unwilling to accept a one-year deal at the Blues, which also includes a fifty-percent pay-cut on his current weekly wage structure of £150,000.

 

According to the Daily Mail, manager Manuel Pellegrini considers Terry as the perfect fit alongside Vincent Kompany for the central defensive partnership next season and the club are willing to provide him with a longer, more lucrative contract.

 

Terry has made over 600 appearances for the Blues so far.
