Lazar Markovic medical at Liverpool delayed

Benfica star Lazar Markovic will have to delay his medical with Liverpool, according to Liverpool Echo.

The 20-year-old is widely tipped to make the switch to the Reds this summer, after the club agreed on a £20m transfer fee with Primeira Liga outfit Benfica.

However, Liverpool Echo claims that the Serbia international, who was expected to undergo his medical on Thursday, will have to wait until Saturday at the latest, due to 'logistical issues'.

Liverpool are also expected to completed the signing of Divock Origi in the next few days, after he was spotted arriving at the club's Melwood training ground earlier this week.
