Roma beat Arsenal to Kostas Manolas signing

Italian side AS Roma have won the race to sign defender Kostas Manolas. The Greek international defender has agreed a four year contract with the Serie A side.

The Gunners were believed to have made an offer for the talented centre back but it appears the Premier League club were unable to agree a fee with Olympiakos.

Manolas flew to Roma for talks this afternoon and will undergo a medical shortly.
