La Liga duo in for Man Utd midfielder?

La Liga duo Atletico Madrid and Valencia are believed to have joined the race for the services of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, according to a report.

Mata's position at the Red Devils is seemingly in doubt following the arrivals of Angel di Maria and loan signing Radamel Falcao to the club.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the former Chelsea man could be lured into an exit from Old Trafford, with a return to the La Liga likely on the cards.

Serie A champions Juventus have also been associated with a move for the Spain international.
