Liverpool forward Fabio Borini is not looking for a move away from Anfield, the player’s agent Marco De Marchi claims.

The Italian international was a target for a lot of big clubs over the summer, but with the departure of star striker Luis Suarez to Barcelona in August, the Reds’ boss Brendan Rodgers wasn’t keen on losing another man upfront.

However reports suggested that the 23-year-old could be out on his way from the Merseyside outfit, with Inter Milan being interested in securing his services. Sunderland were also rumoured to be gunning for another loan deal, but De Marchi insists Borini is focussed on his future with Liverpool.

“The situation is the same as it was at the end of the summer market, that's to say that he's really happy to be part of this really important club”, the agent was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“He is playing in the Champions League and starting as a regular in the Premier League. Borini has a deal with Liverpool until 2016, but in this moment I have nothing in my mind about his future. He is concentrated only on the team and the current season.

“At the moment it's not me looking for other clubs because he's happy to stay at Liverpool. Liverpool have no intention to send him away on loan and we know this”, he added.

Borini joined the Premier League outfit in 2012 after spending a year on loan with Serie A club Roma from Italian rivals Parma.

He has made a total of 23 appearances for the English club since making his debut, and spent the last season on loan to Sunderland.
