Cavani denies exit rumours

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson has revealed that he is happy plying his trade with the French Champions.

Reports had suggested that the Uruguayan international had been considering a switch away from Les Parisiens having been forced to play out of position by manager Laurent Blanc in order to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the striker's role.

However, the Express claims that the 27-year-old has dismissed talks over a move to the Premier League by insisting that he is satisfied with life in Ligue 1.

"[Comments expressing discontent at PSG] were not against the coach, the president or anyone else. I expressed my frustration, but that didn't mean I had a bad relationship with any of them." He is quoted as saying.

Cavani has notched up 29 goals in 51 games for Les Parisiens since his move from Napoli in the summer of 2013.
