Inter eye summer swoop for Robin van Persie

Serie A side Inter Milan will reportedly make a move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie next summer.

The Netherlands international has failed to replicate the form he displayed for the national side at the World Cup finals in Brazil over the summer.

Recent reports have revealed that manager Louis van Gaal will seek a new striker at the end of the season, and this could well end Van Persie's stay at Old Trafford.

According to The Telegraph, Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini could make a tempting offer to lure the flying Dutchman to the Serie A next summer.

Van Persie has scored three goals for United this season.
