So'ton interested in Javi Garcia

Premier League high flyers Southampton are reportedly keen on securing the services of Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Javi Garcia in January, according to The Mirror.

The 27-year-old joined the Russian giants over the summer, having previously spent two seasons in the Premier League with Manchester City.

The Mirror reports that the Spain international is unsettled at Zenit, and will seek pastures elsewhere following their Champions League exit.

In addition to this, Saints are keen on bolstering their holding midfield department, and will make a move for the talented midfielder in the New Year.
