Man Utd lead Otamendi chase

Manchester United are firm favourites to sign up Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi this summer, according to a report.

The Red Devils have been long linked with a move for the talented centre-back.

According to Deporte Valenciano, United have held positive talks with the Argentina international, and can secure his services should they trigger his £36.5m release clause.

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have also expressed their desire to sign up the 27-year-old defender.
