Douglas Costa seals Bayern Munich move

Shakhtar Donetsk striker Douglas Costa has completed his transfer to German champions Bayern Munich on a five-year contract.

The Brazilian international had earlier revealed his desire to leave the Ukrainian giants, as he believed to have the potential to impress at a bigger stage.

Bayern were keen on signing up the talented forward, and it is now official that that 24-year-old has joined the Bavarian outfit for a fee of around £21m.

"I'm proud to become a player for Bayern, following in the footsteps of so many magnificent Brazilian players. I'm looking forward to playing for this magnificent team and will do everything I can to fulfil the expectations placed in me." Costa said at the press conference

Costa was part of the Brazilian national setup at the Copa America in Chile.
