Arsenal cruise to the top

Arsenal defeated Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park today to capitalise on Man Utd's earlier defeat to West Ham and top the Premiership. Eduardo grabbed a brace and Adebayor a late goal as the Gunners proved they are going to be a threat till the very end.
Everton took an early lead after Nicklas Bendtner made a crucial mistake to place to ball nicely into Tim Cahill's path to put Everton 1-0 up.
Arsenal were atrocious for most of the first half; and Nicklas Bendtner picked up an early yellow card for shoving Joseph Yobo.
Eduardo equalized in the 47th minute after controlling a long ball from Gael Clichy before sliding the ball past Tim Howard.
He completed his first Premiership double 11 minutes later with a similar effort, taming another pass from Clichy, rounding his marker and slamming the ball home.
Substitute Adebayor capitalized on a howler from Howard, who was too slow to clear the ball, allowing the lanky striker to nip between him and Joleon Lescott before finishing in an empty net.
Tomas Rosicky put the icing on the cake in the 90th minute when he capped a string of passes between Adebayor and Abou Diaby with a low shot for the fourth goal.
Nicklas Bendtner was then sent off for a shocking two footed lunge on Andy Johnson and will miss the next 3 games for the Gunners.
