Swansea City are confident of signing up Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher during the summer transfer window, The Mirror reports.

The Scotland international joined the Black Cats from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2012, and has since then been a regular in the starting line-up.

However, he has struggled to find the net on a regular basis in recent seasons, and this had led to talks that Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat could seek a replacement this summer.

According to The Mirror, Swans head coach Garry Monk has targeted a move for the talented marksman, whose current deal runs out in 2016.

Furthermore, the Welsh outfit are confident that a fee of around £4m would be sufficient to seal a deal for the 27-year-old striker this summer.
