Wolfsburg sign Julian Draxler
Wolfsburg have completed the signing of long-term Arsenal target Julian Draxler for an undisclosed fee.
The German international has attracted interest from a whole host of clubs in Europe this summer.
However, the World Cup winner has opted to remain in Bundesliga by joining the Wolves on a five-year deal.
"There were two reasons why we agreed to this deal. We will not comment on transfer details but can say that it is the transfer with the highest revenues generated in the history of our club. We also met the specific wishes of Julian to change clubs." Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt told reporters.
The 21-year-old ended his 14-year association with the Gelsenkirchen outfit.
