Chelsea make 2nd signing

Chelsea have agreed terms with Lokomotiv Moscow to sign defender Branislav Ivanovic at a fee of £9m.

A work permit application for the defender has been successful. Only the formalities of personal terms have to be agreed along with a medical.

This is the second major signing for Grant after the signing of Nicolas Anelka.
