Chelsea, Everton to battle for Joe Hart
Premier League duo Chelsea and Everton will go head-to-head for the services of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart next summer. The England international is currently featuring for Torino on a season-long loan from the Citizens.
Hart, 29, opted to join the Serie A outfit over the summer after it became evident that Claudio Bravo would takeover the number one role upon his arrival from Barcelona.
Since then, there have had rather contrasting fortunes, with Hart going through a flying start at Turin whilst Bravo has struggled to adapt to the English game.
With Bravo earning a reckless red card in the 4-0 Champions League defeat at Barcelona, there have been calls by the faithful to retain the services of Hart.
However, according to The Sun, the Citizens are more than likely to offload Hart next season with Pep not seeing the player in his plans for the future.
Everton and Chelsea are among the main suitors for Hart, and it is thought they could be a transfer tussle to get hold of the player's signature.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is on the search for a new goalkeeper to compete with Maarten Stekelenburg, who has performed above expectations this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are keeping an eye on a replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who has been linked with a possible return to Madrid at the end of the campaign.
Hart has been a hit in his stint at Torino having kept two cleansheets and made 18 saves thus far this season.
