Juventus yet to drop Oscar interest

Juve still keen on Oscar

Serie A holders Juventus will look to test Chelsea's resolve in the New Year with a tempting bid for Oscar. The midfielder has been in and out of Antonio Conte's team this season.

Oscar, 25, was linked with a potential switch to Turin in the summer before he received assurances that he would earn a regular role under new boss Conte.

The Brazil international has since started the opening five league games for the Blues before a switch in formation (3-4-3) meant that he had to settle in the substitutes' bench.

Italian source Calciomercato says the Old Lady will revive their pursuit for Oscar in January as they seek to fill the void left by Paul Pogba.

Young midfielder Mario Lemina has been occupying the space left by the Frenchman in the summer, but Max Allegri feels the need to recruit a player who is comfortable in the advanced central midfield role.

Oscar has amassed nearly 200 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Internacional in the summer of 2012.
