Leicester to sign Gaston Ramirez?

Premier League holders Leicester City are reportedly closing in on the signature of Middlesbrough midfielder Gaston Ramirez. The Uruguayan is said to have already terms over a move to the King Power Stadium.

Ramirez has been one of Boro's star performers this season, and his form has captured the attention of the reigning champions.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Southampton man has finalized a contract with the Foxes, but they have yet to negotiate a fee for his transfer.

Ramires currently has a £15m release clause on his contract, and Boro will most probably demand the maximum value for their player.

The 41-time Uruguay international has notched nine goals and four assists for Middlesbrough since joining on an initial loan from St.Mary's last term.
