Chilean teammate urges Alexis Sanchez to join him

Chilean midfielder Gary Medel believes Alexis Sanchez would be a great addition to the Inter Milan squad this summer.

The 28-year-old is currently holding out on talks over a fresh deal despite approaching the final year of his contract.

Medel has watched Alexis shine for Chile in the international stage, and he feels that his compatriot would be welcome to the Nerazzurri's ongoing project.

"Alexis is a player everyone knows. He's one of those strikers that all the top clubs look at," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"I don't know what his future will be, but if he asks for information on Inter, I'll say that here we have a great squad, a very good coach and directors who are hungry for victories. You won't find a project like this elsewhere."

The talented attacker is also a transfer target for Juventus, who previously failed with an approach for his services last summer.

Alexis has been in stunning form for Arsenal this campaign netting 20 goals and assisting a further 13 across all competitions.
