Predicted Chelsea lineup vs Stoke City, Conte doubtful over Moses injury

How Chelsea could lineup versus Stoke

Premier League leaders Chelsea will seek to further strengthen their quest for the title when they take on Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues currently hold a 10-point lead over both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City - both of whom don't feature until Sunday.

Formation: 3-4-3

Lineup:

Belgian shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois is expected to start in goal as he has done in the previous 27 outings.

The defence is unlikely to see any changes unless Victor Moses fails to recover from a minor hamstring problem. The Nigerian has returned to first-team training and judging by Conte's comments he could start from the off against Stoke.

With that in mind, Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill will start at the heart of the backline with Moses and Marcos Alonso providing support in the right wing-back and left wing-back positions respectively.

Cesc Fabregas has started the past couple of games in the Premier League, but he could be dropped in place of Nemanja Matic, who could take on Peter Crouch from set pieces.

N'Golo Kante will definitely partner him in central midfield following his matchwinning goal against Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Moving forward, expect Willian to be rested in favour of Pedro, who could be deployed in his regular right-wing position. Eden Hazard is a definite starter on the left side of the attack with Diego Costa likely to lead the line as usual.
