Reports from Africa suggest that Everton have made an offer for Rwandan international striker Ernest Sugira. The 25-year-old is fast becoming the finest football within his country and has been prolific at all levels, including full international.

Ernest Sugira impressed just last week as he fired AS Vita Club into the CAF Champions League with the first goal in a 2-0 victory over Gambia side Ports Authority. DR Congo team AS Vita Club have indicated they are ready to listen to offers for Sugira but have slapped a hefty price tag on the striker.

Reports indicate that Sugira will initially fly to England for a two week long trial before finalising a bid for the talented striker, but manager Ronald Koeman is believed to be very impressed with recent performances of the striker who is a hero in his home country.

Sugira has also attracted the interest of French clubs Rennes and Nice.

Everton have been quoted a reported $250,000 price to sign Sugira on a permanent transfer.
