Real Madrid want to sign Chelsea duo this summer

Los Blancos keen on double Blues deal

European champions Real Madrid will step up their interest in signing Chelsea pair Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois during the summer transfer window.

The duo have impressed under Antonio Conte this campaign following a lacklustre spell last term which saw the Blues end 10th in the league standings.

According to The Guardian, Los Blancos have set their sights of pursuing both Hazard and Courtois as they seek to further bolster their star-studded squad.

Courtois, who has previously plyed his trade on loan at Atletico Madrid, has expressed his desire to one day return to Madrid where his family is situated to date.

On the other hand, Hazard is speculated to have become house-hunting in the Spanish capital with his compatriot Courtois said to be helping him out in his decision.

Hazard is on course to win his second league title in three seasons, and it is understood that he will consider a move elsewhere as he has achieved his aim of lifting the English crown following a dismal 2015/16 campaign.

Both Courtois and Hazard remains key players for Chelsea as they move forward but a combined fee of around £120m could be sufficient to lure the duo to the Bernabeu this summer.
