Manchester City are plotting a summer approach for Juventus' Kingsley Koman, who is currently in his second year of his loan contract at Bayern Munich.

The France international opted to join the Bavarian giants on two-year loan contract back in the summer of 2015 after he failed to make the cut in Turin.

He followed to make an instant at the Allianz Arena where he contributed key goals under Pep Guardiola including one to eliminate his parent club from the Champions League.

However, he has failed to make a similar impact under current boss Carlo Ancelotti, but he is still hopeful of sealing a permanent contract with veterans Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery likely to be phased out in the coming years.

According to The Sun, manager Guardiola is keen on a reunion with Coman at City, should Bayern decide against the permanent signing of the winger this summer.

Juventus are unlikely to offer the player with first-team opportunities regardless of his availability, and he could be sold for a £40m fee in the coming transfer window.
