Chelsea defender hints at summer exit

France international has reiterated his ambition to leave Chelsea in the quest to attain regular first-team football. The centre-back has yet to start a league game for the Blues this term.

Zouma, 22, has largely warmed the substitutes' bench this campaign with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill being the preferred trio to occupy the three-man backline.

Though he has featured in the Cup games this term, the Frenchman was ignored for the high-profile clash against Manchester United in the FA Cup, and this has not gone well with the player.

In a cryptic post on Instagram, the former Saint-Etienne has hinted that he could be parting ways with the Blues as his chances of regular football look slim.

The youngster is currently out of the reckoning for the France national side, and his playing time next season would be crucial to his chances of making the cut for the World Cup finals in Russia next year.
