Chelsea boss to sign new deal after FA Cup final
Chelsea will reportedly announce a new contract extension for manager Antonio Conte following Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal.
The Italian coach has had an excellent maiden season in English management after having guided the Blues to their fifth Premier League title with a record tally of 30 wins.
Conte's team started in slow fashion with defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal in mid-September, but the change to the 3-4-3 formation did wonders en route to their Premier League triumph.
Speculation from La Gazzetta dello Sport recently cited that the 47-year-old could be heading back to Serie A with Inter Milan prepared to offer him a bumper wage package.
However, the Nerazzurri plans are likely to be dashed with the Blues' hierarchy having settled on a contract agreement with Conte which will be announced after the Wembley clash, The Star reports.
Conte will be keen to guard against complacency this weekend when he faces off against Arsene Wenger's side, who are desperate to have a good ending to their season.
