Everton's summer spending shows no sign of slowing down as they explore the option of signing free-scoring Celtic striker Moussa Dembele to become the focal point of their attack.

Celtic signed Dembele from Fulham for just £400,000 a year ago and The Sun reports that Everton could break their transfer record by offering £30 million to take him to Merseyside.

Europe's biggest clubs have all shown interest in Dembele recently, including Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Barcelona.

Although they may not currently have the same stature as these clubs, Ronald Koeman hopes that the promise of first team football will be enough to lure him to The Toffees.

Celtic are keen to keep their striker, who scored 32 goals last season, at the club for at least another year, but with the opportunity to play in a higher rated league for the player and a huge profit on offer for the club, it looks likely that Dembele will leave.

It would be the third big deal of the summer for Everton, who have spent fees in excess of £20 million on both Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen in the last week.
