Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that the club have not received any formal approach from Manchester United for Alvaro Morata.

A recent report from Marca suggested that the Red Devils had agreed on a £60m package for the Spain international and the deal would be finalised by the end of the week.

However, this does not appear to be the case, according to Perez, who insists that the club have yet to receive an approach for their star performers including Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We haven't received offers for anyone this summer," he told radio station Onda Cero. "No one has offered us anything - not for Cristiano, not Morata - not James [Rodriguez]. We have a great team and, when the time comes, we will improve it."

Manchester United have placed their emphasis on bolstering the backline in the summer following the capture of Victor Lindelof from Portuguese club Benfica.

Jose Mourinho's side are now looking into a proposed deal for Lindelof's former teammate Nelson Semedo, who is a right-back by trade.
