Roberts may leave Blackburn
Blackburn striker Jason Roberts has admitted for the first time that he could leave the club during the summer. Roberts has found himself on the fringes of the first team behind the impressive duo of Benedict McCarthy and Roque Santa Cruz.
"I think everyone is happier when they are playing," the striker told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"I'm sure if you spoke to anyone here they would all say the same. As long as I'm playing, I'm on top of the world.
"As for where my future lies, I don't know. To a certain extent that situation is out of my hands.
"All I can do is try to show people what I can do, and hopefully I showed them a bit more (at the weekend).
"It's just nice for me that I'm getting an opportunity now and whatever has happened in the past, is in the past for me.
"If the manager continues to give me an opportunity, then I will always try my best for the team, like I've always done."
