Aragones ready for Italy
Spanish boss Luis Aragones believes that Italian football is mistreated and that Italy could very much well win the Euro 2008 tournament. The two sides go head to head tomorrow in Elche, Spain and Aragones has praised his counterparts.
"Italian football is always mistreated and it often happens here,” said Aragones. “But I consider the World Champions to be strong and always a threat.
“I don’t understand why there is so much criticism of Italy. In fact, they are the absolute favourites for the European Championship along with France.
