Seedorf praises Milan side
Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf has praised his Milan team mates for their efforts as they defeated Cagliari 3-1. Seedorf has come in for some criticism from Milan supporters of late, but a stunning performance in the 3-1 victory has seen the fans somewhat regain their faith in Seedorf.
“This win is fundamental for morale for the entire squad, and especially important hwas ow we won it," said Seedorf.
“I’m very happy with the great reaction of the team. After their goal we reacted in a positive way, managing to score the third one. It was a great Milan for ninety minutes.
“Tonight I also had the support of the crowd, who I wanted to thank with applause, I know what the fans expect from me and I’m the first one to be unhappy when I don’t give my contribution. For my part, I always give my utmost effort.
“Let’s hope that this period of highs and lows is over. Next week we have a great match and I’m convinced that we shall face a great Italian derby."
