Preview: Fulham vs Liverpool

If Fulham ever wanted a chance to get three points over Premiership rivals Liverpool - now would be the perfect time - the Reds sights are firmly focused on the midweek encounter with Chelsea in the Champions League, and Rafa Benitez has decided to rest some of his players.

Hodgson will once again look upon American striker Liverpool play Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final first leg three days after their trip to Craven Cottage, so their thoughts may lie elsewhere.

Brian McBride to lead the attack after helping his club to victory over Reading. Apart from Jari Litmanen who is out injured and will not feature against his former club, Hodgson has a full squad at his disposal here.

Steven Gerrard could be rested, with Torres expected to also be rested, we can expect to see Peter Crouch take to the field here today. Benitez could bring on Argentine Javier Mascherano after he completed his suspension for his sending off against United. The likes of Daniel Agger is out with a foot injury; Harry Kewell and Jermaine Pennant are also likely to miss out.
