Preview: Boro vs Bolton
Middlesbrough look to be safe from the drop - but this is a must win game for Gary Megson's Bolton side. Boro are searching for their 100th home win while Bolton have gone 310 minutes without scoring an away goal.
Gareth Southgate will not have the services of Gary O'Neil who is out with knee ligament damage abut was sidelined with suspension anyway for this match. But with the likes of Tuncay Sanli, Adam Johnson, Lee Cattermole and Fabio Rochemback available, there is more than enough option to fill the missing gap.
Striker Kevin Davies is suspended for this match; had he not been suspended, he would not have played anyway due to a broken hand he suffered. Thus we could see the likes of Grzegorz Rasiak or Heidar Helguson come into replace him in attack.
Joey O'Brien, Ricardo Gardner, Nicky Hunt and goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen are also set to be missing for Bolton.
Squads
Middlesbrough (from): Schwarzer, Turnbull, Young, Grounds, McMahon, Wheater, Pogatetz, Boateng, Arca, Downing, Shawky, Rochemback, Cattermole, Johnson, Aliadiere, Alves, Tuncay.
Bolton (from): Al Habsi, Steinsson, Cahill, A O'Brien, Taylor, Guthrie, McCann, Nolan, Helguson, Diouf, Campo, Cohen, Samuel, Giannakopoulos, Rasiak, Alonso, Fojut, Walker, Braaten.
