Nilmar close to Napoli switch
Brazilian striker Nilmar is close to joining Napoli. The player is currently without a club and it is believed that Corinthians - his previous club - still owe Lyon money from the transfer move in 2005.
Nilmar has represented Brazil 5 times and Napoli are keen to bolster their squad ahead of their Serie A programme this year.
Real Salt Lake and Real Betis have both approached the player, and Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez has expressed an interest in the player, offering him a month long trial.
