Scholes surprised by Chelsea

Paul Scholes has admitted he is surprised by the late efforts of Chelsea as Man Utd prepare for their Premiership visit to Stamford Bridge. A victory of United would seemingly kill off Chelsea's title challenge.

"They have surprised me,” the Reds ace told MUTV.

"Their manager has had a lot of stick, but when you look at his record it is fantastic. They have only lost two games since he took over and one of those was against us.

"Maybe they have had a couple of results they shouldn't have, but that happens during a season. We thought they might fade away, but they haven't done. They have been right up there challenging."
