Barcelona legend Txiki Beguiristain has admitted that big changes are likely to be made in the summer to the squad and to the backroom team. Barcelona have been linked with several high profile recruits and Frank Rijkaard's future remains somewhat of a mystery.

"The lack of performances obliges us to make changes,” he said.

“Now is the moment of analysis, we will take the decisions at the end of the season.

"Being in Moscow would have changed practically nothing about what is decided.

“We do not improvise, not before, nor now. Everything is prepared and needs its time.

"At the start of the season nobody doubted the quality of the team, but it is true that things have not gone well.

"The ones to blame are the players, the coaches and the technical secretaries."
