AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti remains confident that it will be the Rossoneri celebrating after this weekend's Milan derby.

The two sides are not only competing for local bragging rights but also have their own agendas ahead of the clash at San Siro.

A win for Inter could possibly see them clinch the Scudetto against their local rivals, whilst Milan are hoping to put pressure on Fiorentina who currently occupy the last Champions League spot..

"Compared to Inter we will be more up for it because if they do not get the result tomorrow, they will have other possibilities to win the Scudetto,” said Ancelotti.

“We want to move closer to the zone of the Champions League, a tournament that has given us a lot of satisfaction and to which we very much want to participate in."

"We, however, have entered into form in this final part of the season, so we believe we can do well and bring home the result."

The prospect of the Champions League without AC Milan seems almost unthinkable but it is very likely should they fail against the Neazzuri on Sunday.
