It is being reported that Real Mallorca’s in demand hit man, Daniel Guiza, is edging ever closer towards North London and Tottenham Hotspur.

With it looking more and more likely that Dimitar Berbatov will be moving on to one of Europe’s top sides, Juande Ramos will certainly be looking to bolster his attack and it is rumoured that Güiza is top of the shopping list and is being tipped to join the club in a €12 million Euro deal.

The Spanish international is currently the league’s top scorer and is being chased by Barcelona but it is thought that Spurs are winning the race for his signature.

He has netted 24 goals in 34 appearences this season and still has Euro 2008 to look forward to. However, Juande Ramos will be keen to secure his services before he is unveiled on that stage as it would ultimately result in Spurs having to pay a much heftier transfer fee.
