Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has admitted he is in the market for some top quality players this summer, and AEK Athens defender Papastahopoulos has been linked with a move to Rovers as well as James McFadden from Birmingham.

Blackburn boss Hughes has reportedly been given £15 million to spend on new players this summer.

Hughes said: "I'm hopeful of getting some good quality into the squad, I hope to spend the money that I get well. We've been able to do that in recent times and if we continue in that vein then we'll add quality to the quality in the squad that we already have."
