Villa hopes for Valencia stay
Talented Spain and Valencia striker David Villa is hoping that he can stay at the club. Villa's impressive Euro 2008 tournament has seen several clubs interested in landing the international forward.
However, it seems that Villa would prefer to stay at Los Che for the forseeable future.
"I left the club to compete in Euro 2008 and, when it ends, I hope to be going back to Valencia," Villa told radio station Radio 9.
"I never thought about leaving before Euro 2008 and I'm not thinking about it now."
