The UEFA technical committee for Euro 2008 has named its 23-man squad of the tournament. In addition, Spain midfielder Xavi Hernandez has been named as the best player of the tournament.

The FC Barcelona midfielder was named as the Castrol Player of the Tournament. Manchester United midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a disappointing Euro 2008 with Portugal, was not even named in the 23-man team of the tournament.
