Milan Say No To Kaka Offer
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has informed the media that Chelsea did indeed make a huge offer for Kaka. But the Italian has also told that Milan have rejected the bid.
News broke out on Saturday of a 100 million euro bid for the Brazilian international footballer Kaka from Chelsea. It ws also reported that the two clubs had reached an agreement with each other and that the player himself was on the lookout for a move to Stamford Bridge from San Siro.
But it has now emerged that although Chelsea did indeed bid for the World Cup winner but it has also been confirmed that Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi has rejected the bid.
This is what Milan vice-president Adriano Galliano told the reporters:
Chelsea want Kaka? It's true - they have made a conspicuous offer - but I won't tell you how much it is.
"President Berlusconi basically says no to Kaka [leaving], just as he did when Real Madrid wanted [Andrei] Shevchenko in 2001."
