Gerrard Returns Home
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrrd has been sent home from the club's training camp in Switzeland afte he picked up a gron injury.
Reds manager Rafae Benitez has actually taken the team to Switzerland for a pre-season traning and has a few games scheduled with foreign clubs.
But captain Steven Gerrard has suffered another groin injury nad shall this have to miss this session of Liverool's pre-season build up.
Gerrard has often been troubled by his groin although he did undergo several operations on tht part of his body.
Livepool though maintain that this is nothing to worry about as the strain is quite manageable. They also say that Gerrard has been sent home for precautinary measures.
"Steven has a slight groin strain which will keep him out for between seven and 10 days," said club spokesman Ian Cotton.
"He has left the training camp to return to Melwood where he will receive treatment on the injury."
