Ferguson wanted more goals
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he wanted his Manchester United side to score more goals in the victory over West Ham at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The Red Devils were victorious by 2-0 last night, with goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Ferguson wasn't entirely happy, as he admitted he felt that his side should've scored more goals.
Fergie said: “The first half was magnificent and after that I was looking for more of the same.
“I wanted more goals because that could be important at the end of the season.
“But we did not capitalise on our first half, took our foot off the pedal and played a couple of gears below what we we’re capable of.
“We were too relaxed, for me.”
