Madrid chasing Negredo
Alvaro Negredo has revealed that Real Madrid were keen on resigning the talented Almeria man. Negredo spent the earlier stages of his career playing for Madrid's youth sides.
"They spoke to my agent and from the beginning I was told they could not exercise the option to re-sign me," said Negredo. "And here I remain calm and happy.
"I do not have anything clear but I have goals in my career and one of them, obviously, is playing for Madrid. But at the moment this cannot happen."
