Wenger backs Arsenal challenge

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that the Gunners can still mount a Premiership challenge this year, despite selling over £40 million of talent to Man City as Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor quit the club.
"In England people think all the problems have to be sorted out by buying players," he said. "I believe that the biggest target is to work hard in training, improve where we can improve, and have confidence in the players we have. Unfortunately I cannot tell you that we are close to signing anyone."
"The position of the squad is very good. It looks to me that the cohesion is there and that is down to the fact we have stability."
