How many times do we hear players or managers from different clubs, praise their fans by calling them the 'Best In The World'. Some do have a case, for instance, Newcastle United, a team starved of success and silverware, the perenial 'under-achievers', but there support stays at loyal and as true as ever, despite seeing their club going in to freefall. But for me, and thousands others in this country, and worldwide, Liverpool FC have the greatest supporters in the land, with the Kop, been the heart and soul.

What other fans in World Football are given the nickname " The Twelth Man" due to the atmosphere they create, and the was they intimidate, and affect the opposition?

What other fans in World Football applaud the opposing Goalkeeper as he makes his way to the Kop end?

What other fans in World Football still have that raw, scouse, local passion that they had in the 70's and 80's, despite the huge changes that have taken part in the game over the years?

What other fans in World Football can stick by there team, and drive them on, whilst they are been hummilated on the biggest stage in world football?

What other fans in World Football make sure an array of banners are on display regularly at home and away games, that include poetry and songs, pay tributes to heroes, express opinions, mock rivals, protest, whilst been funny, original and pure scouse at the same time?

What other fans in World Football has had a manager known as the 'Special One' (Although he clearly isn't), say there the only crowd he's ever seen win a football game, as he tried to explain the atmosphere created inside Anfield on 3rd May 2005 in the Champions League Semi Final?

What other fans in World Football help there own in times of crisis, and save lives, whilst the authorities in charge around them freeze?

What other fans in World Football still twenty years on, make sure there loved ones are rightly NEVER forgotten?

What other fans in World Football can travel on mass to European destinations, and set up camp in city centres, typing banners from anywhere possible, dressing statues up in Liverpool red, dancing in fountains and have locals look on in awe at thousands of scousers?

What other fans in World Football would sell cars, cookers, anything they could, to get money to fund trips to European destinations such as Rome and Paris?

What other fans in World Football have a pre match ritual, that is world renowned, that has visiting supporters looking on in awe, as the Kop becomes a sea of red scarves, and such an array of huge flags on poles, whilst making an ear deafening noise?

What other fans in World Football makes sure that there support dosen't become plastic, making sure chants such as "Easy, Easy" and "Who Are Ya?" dont appear at there ground as they do at almost everyother one, its a staying original thing

What other fans in World Football would make sure the 96, and people like Michael Shields are never forgotten, and are always at the front of peoples mind through groups, banners, songs, marches, etc?
