Owen: more clinical England

Michael Owen has warned that England must be far more clinical if they are to defeat Russia on Wednesday. Michael Owen believed that he should've had a hat-trick on Saturday as he rued several missed opportunities.

We created a lot and scored three on Saturday, and that's a good return," Owen said to the Daily Express.

"Had we kept going we could have doubled the score but maybe a few lads had an eye on Russia.

"We have got to be even sharper. We know it'll be much harder against Russia."

"We have a game in hand on Israel and we're above them now. We have to do the same against Russia. Wednesday is a massive game."
