Milinkovic-Savic back on Man United radar

Manchester United are reportedly planning to revive their long-term interest in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian was regularly linked with the Red Devils in 2019, and there were reports claiming that personal terms were agreed.

However, nothing materialised beyond the speculation. It is now reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that United are back in the hunt for him.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the Serbian, who could leave Lazio, if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Milinkovic-Savic has had another fine season in the Serie A, and he has registered seven goals and nine assists from 26 appearances.

The 26-year-old has also excelled in the defensive point of view with two tackles and four successful aerial duels per game.

United are not actively searching for a midfielder, but he may be an option if Paul Pogba, whose contract expires in 14 months, leaves the club.

Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly valued at around €70m.
