Mane open to Reds exit?

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is open to joining Barcelona or Real Madrid in the next transfer window.

The Senegal international has been a hugely influential presence in the Reds' attack, but the club could be looking into the future.

The hierarchy recently signed Luis Diaz from Porto, and the Brazilian plays exclusively from the left wing, the same position as Mane.

This has led to suggestions that Mane could be shown the exit door, considering his contract expires in less than 17 months.

There has been no progress over a new deal thus far, and Marca reports that the 29-year-old is willing to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.

He has already informed his desire to his representative, and would be tempted to accept an offer from either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Aside from Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino will also enter the final year of their respective contracts in July this year.

Among the trio, Salah could be the most likely candidate to stay. The Reds are planning to hand a club-record weekly salary to keep him.
